Longacres Trust was formed to respond to the financial needs of those in Somerset and the surrounding area.
Our objective is to relieve poverty by providing grants to individuals in need and charities working toward the reduction of poverty.

We aim to support people in need and organisations bringing relief to those in need.
We can offer support to those suffering as a result of:
Misuse of drugs or alcohol
Low income jobs failing to offer enough support
Single parent families who are in financial need
Bereavement
Victims of accident, crime or abuse
Imprisonment i.e. ex-prisoners & their families
Illness i.e. short-term/long-term/critical
Redundancy and long-term unemployment
Homelessness
Debt
Age and infirmity
Social disadvantage
